Should be for the full stay.
Also can you pick the toggle that says include all fees & taxes on the $163 rate? That’ll tell you how much you’d actually pay if using cash.
You can get 1 INR/point if you plan it properly, especially at properties outside India.
If you can do 5 consecutive nights at the same property with Marriott, you only end up paying for 4 nights.
Here's a quick example -
1231104 JPY (6.58L) vs 392k points + 5300 INR
With the 30% bonus on Marriott transfers that Amex has been running for the past couple of years, you should get over 1.755L points if you transfer to MB during that promo period.
A couple of nights at Mandapa (a Ritz-Carlton Reserve property) normally costs about 36.3M IDR (1.92L) -
You can...
I’ve tried this and your friend can give you a supplementary card. Amex doesn’t care who the supplementary card goes to as long as KYC is done and address of supplementary holder is in Amex’s serviceable area.
Epicure is the only physical card, rest all upgrades are online.
This is more of a choice by the respective programs as most loyalty programs have stopped sending out physical cards.
Where do you see the per year messaging? Did support confirm?
Timeframe is not mentioned there - https://www.americanexpress.com/in/customer-service/faq.what-if-i-like-a-reward-and-do-not-have-enough-points.html
It's not 90 days but 3 statement cycles based on the example in any of the statements.
So for the first 3 statements I only paid the min amount. In the 4th statement, cleared off the entire amount.
No charges/interest were levied to my account/statement.
Yep, that would be perfect.
100 points is minimum on Amex for transfer and the transfer comes through very quickly.
Be sure to verify the "valid until" date under the total points screen on the app to confirm the expiry got pushed forward after the transfer comes through.
Yep, any stay or redemption will work - expiry gets pushed forward by 2 years if I'm not mistaken
4 + 1 is standard across all properties anywhere in the world
Best redemption even if you can't do the 4 + 1 is to book a luxury stay outside India as you can find some really sweet deals
Here...
Just add a qualifying activity (earn/redeem) to account and the expiry will get pushed forward.
Best redemptions are when you plan 5 consecutive nights at the same property for the 5th free night.
For anyone wondering -
ITC honors MB elite status even on ITC voucher redemptions at Luxury collection properties (which show up on the Marriott app) and you can choose which loyalty program (ITC/MB) you want the accrued nights/points to be credited to, post your stay.
Same thing happened to me after almost a month.
There seems to be a technical issue on their end.
As per the messaging on their app, if you transfer more than 15k in a single transaction or quarter, you will receive the excess back in your green points account but the difference to bring up...
Received the redemption email and Gyftr URL today for the 8k Luxe vouchers.
I only see 5k denomination vouchers on the Gyftr redemption page though.
Is there something I'm missing here?
I received the 8k Luxe voucher code email today but only see 5k worth gift cards when I go to the Gyftr URL to redeem.
Anyone else facing the same issue?
