Is Pluxee (Sodexo) 2-in-1 card a prepaid card? One end is the meal pass that company credits every month. But other end of the card is the rupay prepaid card I believe. I haven't used the prepaid one yet.

LOL those days..... Sodexo meal coupons are tax free and are typically 1 year validity . Typically one receives 1000 to 1500 INR per month. Big restaurants accept them and small take some cut of 5% saying that they can't encash fully. They charge extra 5rs per 100. Chennai had pathetic...

Good riddance, it was pain in ars** to dispose them, also apart from on campus restaurants, only reliance used to accept them. Things are much simpler now!

Rather than a control, life was like that back then. Acceptance of CC was hard and on top of it extra 2% charges. In those days accepting a 100rs worth Sodexo without 5rs extra was the biggest deal for us. I could never reach the fee waiver criteria just by booking couple of flights.

Why I want to downgrade ? Long back my rm pushed regalia and i rejected it. In those days accepting sodexo coupons itself was a big deal. For me all HDFC CCs are MDCs, Nue is OK but slowly becoming MDC.

take pluxee old, wide acceptance in food, grocery, supermarkets (search Sodexo earlier name). zaggle kind of new but rupay support.
