Guys my friend got pre approved magnus (ordinary 12500 wala not burgundy) who has select paid card for more than 2 years and no savings account with axis
His query whether he can take the normal magnus now and start points accumulated for next 2 years then open burgundy account with 10l on 3rd year and upgrade to burgundy magnus and redeem all points at 5:4
He is very conservative and not sure whether this will work

Hi Burgundy account holders pls help me with this query
Magnus card getting for renewal on October so planning to close it since costs 35400/-
Post closing i have some ideas for investing this idle 10lac.
If i simply move funds out will Axis Bank fine me penalty for not having minimum balance?
To save this fine do i need to downgrade my account to low variance voluntarily?
Or once balance reduced no penalty but they themselves downgrade in next month?
Note I have added wife account also with 5k balance in it under my Burgundy account
