@vaibhav111 I paid total 100 and now available credit is matched to approved credit limit. Due date was 5/12/23 and today is the 9th. Passed 3 days timeline 😭 sadly I didnt receive any payment reminder from HDFC or call regarding the payment.

due date whatever + 100 more. and call HDFC CC and get the cc Unblocked. and create reminder to pay CC bill 4-7 days before as per Portal you Pay off the bills at.

@Sahilhenzy hdfc shouldn't report or any bank doesn't report if amount is under 99/- i hope I'm not wrong here.

@vaibhav111 I think they report, but don't levy penalty (finance charges).
@Sahilhenzy you can reach out to customer care and request them to not report this to CICs this one time citing honest mistake.

Don't you have apps like Cred or Paytm which gives notification & whatsapp for bill reminder. These help a lot.

@sousnake Yes. I have these apps. But I don't know why cred didn't remind me or they fail to fetch bill.

Use a task manager app for recurring reminders. They have never failed.

Check if the cred app is blocked by the phone from sending notifications. Because you crossed the grace period, they "might" report to the bureau about late payment.

RBI provides a grace period of 3 days I think, so within that, if you clear the dues, your Credit Report won't be spoilt.

HDFC or any other bank should send intimation message if payment not received by due date so that we'll have 3 days of grace period atleast.

Contact HDFC Bank about an unreceived statement. Request them not to report to CIBIL or other agencies, as it might be an email statement activation issue. Similar issue happened to me and was resolved without CIBIL reporting and reversing of all charges.

HDFC used to have 10 day grace period for reporting to credit agencies(with penalty), reduced to 3 days after RBI's mandate.
