@Beyond I have never experienced such issues with any of the banks. I keep the transaction within the limit & update the profile if needed because most of the times if there is any mismatch between your defined annual income and your spending pattern limit this could potentially lead to freezing issues.
@CRN its just pure luck. Your proactiveness does not matter to algo
Sooner or later your experience will change 🙂
For example - PNB algo flags every upi transaction that ends with non zero
@2025 Yes, I had to visit pnb because of that reason only, on behalf of a senior citizen relative recently
They had to be threatened just to accept signed application for unfreeze
Plus when I enquired branch official told me not to do non zero transactions
@Beyond ok. Will test HDFC also. But I prefer using secondary accounts for txn with unknown parties.
Otherwise, I find SBI better.
AU also good. HDFC used to have some issues particularly at night. Uco very bad at night. PNB ok (wife's one), icici less tested, canara ok but heard some issues faced by others, cbi- have some issues, Rbl- initially had some issues.
Also, mostly I use CCs for merchant txn.
@2025 the best thing about hdfc is that they will give a call, whenever a security concern is there before total freeze
So always take the call you receive within 15 minutes of transaction
Also only hdfc unfreezes your account on email consent (if unable to pick security call) (no documents whatever is asked if within your profile)
i contacted branch and they removed debit freeze on call, i said i have 40+ credit card and i am using my dc to pay cc bills and they understand and activated account. polite talk and sir sir worked
@the.avhishek Ok. I will call once tomorrow.
But I myself want the profile updation, so that similar situation does not arise in future. Will take a call tomorrow.
Thanks.
Hope its just related to unusual transactions ,if its regarding kyc, They even send guys to home for physical verification .
RBL is the worst private bank in terms of freezing
