"application will expire", This looks like bit odd here.. She has to take any actions either reject/approve.. It's there fault if application is expiring at there end.
You can keep recordings, will be helpful to escalate to PNO/RBI.. make sure to ask employee identification on call
Unfortunately I had a similar but opposite scenario. I applied for simplysave rupay card via cashkaro but the sbi team called and told the card was not being issued in rupay variant so I could just switch to visa or take fuel rupay card.
Then I chose cashback card luckily sbi accepted my application and i received the card with a decent limit
She just wants her code to be used in your new card application other than cashback card as she can't apply cb card from her end.
Most likely she will hold your application or will decline it. You should complain about it to nodal officer and then principal nodal officer with call recording to boost your cb card application.
Update:
Received mail from nodal yesterday they are investigating in this matter.
Today: received a call from agent confirmed details and told all about card he said it's pre approved no documents need and told I will recieve one confirmation call shortly.
Received another call she asked all details and said I will recieve esign email shortly and said after esign card will be approved and I will recieve card within 7 days.
Still waiting for esign mail. And card protection plan call ( she mentioned I will recieve)
So I consider this application as approved ? And I have simply click with 1.33L limit will they split limit or give new limit to cashback.
