Do you have Secure Folder / Locked Folder facility built into your phone? Like Motorola (Thinkshield), Samsung (Knox), Pixel (Titan), etc?
If yes, use that instead. It's secured on your device and cannot be retrieved by anyone else. Also, added 2 layers of protection is there, first your screenlock to unlock your normal phone, then another password different from screen lock to unlock that folder.
It's extremely safe as long as you've never used your master password anywhere else. It must be as long and complex as possible and NEVER repeated. Also turn on 2FA via an authenticator app like Authy or Google Authenticator.
