The audacity of that guy to lie at ur face and act as if he is doing u a favor is appalling. Indiapost is one of the most hopeless depts of the country. I forced my mother to close her indiapost fd and savings account just because of their pathetic customer service. We r wasting our tax money to give salary to such irresponsible idiots at indiapost

My Post office guy here mandatorily rings the doorbell and if no one is home, he makes 2 more attempts to deliver it. Even then if I don't receive it, I get a call from him to collect it from the nearest HO. I have never seen them returning postage without first seeking consent of the recipient. Nearest HO for me is about a 5m bike drive.

@Dr.AMAN yeah almost every govt. thing here in india is mostly corrupt and full of lazy people. And the said part, that laziness is what most people value and get respected for. Everyone wants a govt. job so they can sit around and do nothing without any worry of job loss.

My aunt was investing monthly Rs 10k in Indiapost RD. The local postman was very friendly and he even offered to come to her home and pickup the cash along with passbook on 1st of every month. He would keep the passbook with him and whenever asked about the current balance he would give handwritten balance sheets. After 2-3 yrs one day when she wanted money urgently then she asked that postman to break the RD. He kept delaying with some flimsy reason. Then she went directly to the postoffice only to find out that for that last 2 years, although the postman was collecting the cash on 1st of every month, he was not depositing it in her account until 25th. He was running a small Harshad mehta like scam and lending that money to others for high interest.

@Lordkk - Here in Bangalore, for our neighborhood too we got a good postman, he recently retired. Always delivered , when not in house, he calls and give it to neighbors . ofcourse these are kid's magazines though. Even at his age never been grumpy or rude to any of us.

Did you try to make any redemptions on the Rupay website? Is it working?

@lightwaves Yes working fine. The otp problem happens to only few people. After using the atm wait for 24-48 hours it will start working.
