I have a doubt, so I have followed the procedure and my upgradation is complete. I was issued a normal Visa debit card during account opening and my RM automatically issued a Visa Signature debit card. I went to the branch and applied for the SRW code card and 2 days later it shows rejected in the netbanking portal. Anyone facing the same issue, should I close the normal Visa card and apply or should I close both the cards? It would be great of anyine can confirm

Are your both physical DCs active? If yes, then permanently close one of them and then apply again for the SRW.

Received after so long, they cancelled my first card, and they said that new card can be applied only after 2 weeks. @Sourabh_13 Thank you so much! Do let me know when the Aurum card is open for IIT Students, I have not availed the Elite card waiting for Aurum lol.

I don't think the offer is for NITs. But no harm in asking.

I don't know the code for the SBI Wealth Visa Sig DC. But it is listed in the PDF they have. Should be easy to issue it. The Rupay Select one is not in the PDF list, hence the code is needed to make the search in their system quick.

A small update from me, who was able to upgrade from a visa to a Rupay Select card.

I didn't know the procedure that is being followed in the thread( I just came to know about this thread), so instead, I emailed wealth@sbi.co.in telling them that I need the upgradation. After 3 days, I received a mail from my RM asking me to fill a form, which had a undertaking that I am okay with blocking my existing card. Once I sent her the form, after 2 days she blocked my visa signature card, and after a week I received the Rupay card.
