SBI Card PhonePe SBI Card – CVP new SBI CC launching

No idea why my father's application has been slow compared to others.

Applied on 9 Aug,
did VKYC and esign on 12 Aug
Got the wait for 11 days message on 13 Aug

And no more updates till now.

Update: He got a call from a SBI agent saying that there was some issue with the old application and that they will have to make a new application from their side. He consented to this by submitting a application OTP on the SBI cards website link they sent via sms. And he had to do VKYC again and got a new application ID. I wasn't there when it happened but this seems suspicious to me. Did they just do this to get a referral as I had done the previous application myself or something else?

What are the chances of the new application getting approved now. I thought that there was a 6 months cooldown time between applications. Or would that not apply here?

How can I do that? When they send the e-sign link? My father did say that he confirmed with them that they were applying for the Phonepe select Black card

if you have new application no. check with customer support over email

Esign document ka pdf mail pr aaya hoga. Check in that which card was applied.

They just send the e sign link. It is the Phonepe Select black card mentioned. So that's fine

What’s the most success rate to get the card. Is it from sprint or Phonepe?

yes i got reply today asking for 2 year itr/3 month salary slip and 3 month bank statement. I don't think they will reconsider even after sending documents. what about you, you got any reply after sending docs?

No, sent those docs just 2days back. No reply till now.

Card applied on 5th Aug

Physical home verification done on 7th Aug

Final Phone verification on 9th Aug

Then a long silence

On 25th Aug - card got approved

Today on 28th Aug - card got dispatched

Mostly tomorrow will get the card in hand

So it took 20+ days for approval and extra 3 days for dispatch.
