I am a BOB SNAPDEAL CC holder. I am actively using this card primarily but I am noticing that BOB is not crediting reward points on a few UPI transactions. I went through the MITC carefully but didn't find any reason. Hence, I emailed them. Surprisingly, they mailed me the MCCs against those transactions which I believe wrong. Like, I transacted one tailor shop where I bought cut piece. They were marking the shop as MCC 7211 for the UPI transaction. Surprisingly, I visited once more, this time I transacted through an another RUPAY CC of different bank. Post the transaction, I enquired about UPI MCC from that respective bank (a large Pvt bank) & it was different than BOB mentioned MCC. Then, I visited the shop once more to purchase another product, this time I swiped through same BOB CC. This time I cross checked in the statement & I earned rewards on it & enquired, learnt different MCC. So, I believe BOBCARD is somehow bluffing us with wrong MCCs & reducing the accrued Reward Points what it should be. Please share your view on it. Thanks
