Ah great. Petrol prices will either increase soon or more Ethanol will be added. Ambani needs to recoup that money somehow mitron

What do you think happened.
I have previously heard some rumours now it's time to hear from you what happened behind the curtain
Google invested in reliance industreis 4.5 billion in covid....in 2021 google invested in dunzo around 12 million and become largest shareholder....in 2022 reliance invested 240 million and now write off 240 million.
Its become circle.😉

Idk about the number
When a company goes bankrupt or company is dead then the shareholder or promotor value become nothing(they will write it of as loss most of the times)
Google invested in reliance and Google even invested in dunzo both are seperate companies so it can be done.
Many companies do other investment that may or may not be related to their core business with the newly acquired amounts

When dunzo went down higher initial investment and reliance investment goes down there is nothing about this behind the curtain it's all public knowledge.

I anticipated some juicy news from you so it's disappointing to this.

As per my knowledge reliance after providing funding to dunzo had ambition to merge it with its own verticals which was against the dunzo founders wishes so when the dunzo wanted fresh investment none (including reliance)gave them so it eventually came down as there was no cash to burn

This is not juicy news ...its reality ....to divert fund from one company to another company. In 240 million reliance can create 2-3 dunzo company. Public have very limited knowledge.

Some common people here and elsewhere don't have the X-factor which can make them understand that whenever so and so companies goes down, it doesn't because it was hard to survive but sinking it was more beneficial with the motive like killing other's invested money and secondly erode taxes by showing losses on account. Back channel money made and in front no profit and rather loss = No tax liability.

As Dhirajlal Ambani said, "Dogs are everywhere and bark and you need to have different biscuits for different breeds."

Here Dogs are from Govt to IAS to Taxmen to CAs who all provide a cumulative approach to help Reliance.

secondly erode taxes by showing losses on account
It's hurting own self to avoid taxes.

Instead they could donate some money to their own trust which having ambani or reliance logo and support its own employee then have a tax break on said spend amount on employee trust
"Dogs are everywhere and bark and you need to have different biscuits for different breeds."
Nice quote
Back channel money made
How? Please enlighten me
The money invested is already spent then come the real challenge to raise more funds or become profitable. If anyone can't be achieved then they will have to close shop

If we could understand the real logic behind the actions of Ambani and Adani, we would also become the next Adani/Ambani. They never do anything for loss. There are aspects like tax benefits, real estate and other commercial and political considerations that we cannot even think of.
So do not bother about Adani and Ambani, think about the next loot you can make out of cards.

Actually I posted this article about Dunzo's departure in the business...
I didn't know that they shut down their business.. and that whoever dont know might know about this news...

Goes to show inspite of big backing, any startup can go belly up if not run properly or at wrong place at the wrong time etc . etc...

and I am not qualified enough to talk about the big shots....

Sir since this a public forum we don't need to be an expert or qualified to talk but we can voice out our opinion which can go to and fro between in the comments/in follow up.
I don't see anything wrong in the postive discussion without complete knowledge since gaps in our knowledge can be filled by other experts here
In my previous comment (#10 thread) I have thrown some light on what i believe happened, someone here with more knowledge can say iam completely or partially wrong and correct it and we gain much knowledge from it

You are very well qualified not only for this but for many many subjects...
It's more about your interest in particular domain.
Those who are tracking or incline towards investment , stock market, Angel investor, startups, new age tech, M&A(merger and acquisitions).
Previously Kishor Biyani LED Future Group was in the LimeLight few years back.
So like film industry...
Simple Saying is the show must Go on..
