Axis Atlas: Does atlas has a amex gyftr or hdfc smartbuy like portal where I can buy vouchers?

Hi guys,

new to the forum, apologies if this has already been discussed but was thinking to apply to Axis Atlas and was trying to figure out whether Axis Atlas has a portal like HDFC smartbuy where I can buy vouchers at discounts? I do not want to buy on Gyftr directly which is not cobranded with bank as then it would have convince fee as well.

Right not buying all vouchers from Amex Gyftr or HDFC Smartbuy. I am only aware that high end cards within Axis range has such a portal called AXIS edge

Nope, there's no reward multiplier for Axis Atlas. I use Gyftr App and Tata Neu for purchasing Gift cards. You can buy Amazon Vouchers from Tata Neu without any surcharge. For other vouchers, there's no surcharge on either platforms.

Tata neu says 3% back.
Is it applicable only on tata neu card or for all cards?

Hello, i had also recently started exploring the gift voucher world and there has been quite some good learnings. About Gyftr:

GyFTR is a digital platform that sells gift vouchers and prepaid cards for a wide range of brands—Amazon, Myntra, Domino’s, and many more. These vouchers can be purchased instantly, often at a discount, and are redeemable online or in-store depending on the terms set by the specific brand.

Why Are There Different GyFTR Platforms for Axis, HDFC, Amex, etc.?

Banks and financial institutions like Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, and American Express have partnered with GyFTR to create dedicated GyFTR portals for their customers. Each “branded” GyFTR portal comes with exclusive deals, loyalty integrations, and user flows tailored to the bank’s cardholders:

  • Axis Bank: The Axis GyFTR platform is branded as “GIFT EDGE.” Axis customers can buy gift vouchers with up to 40% instant discount and earn “GyFTR Coins” (bank-specific digital reward coins), which can be used for future voucher purchases. These coins are exclusive to the Axis portal and are not transferable to the generic GyFTR site or other banks. Axis cards may also offer special deals and denominations exclusive to their customers.
  • HDFC Bank: HDFC’s GyFTR portals are tightly woven into their rewards ecosystem. For example, SmartBuy or HDFC MoneyBack lets credit card users redeem reward points, trigger bonus cashback (sometimes “up to 5x points/cashback”), or access otherwise exclusive brands. The specific portal and flow can vary by card type, with certain vouchers or discounts only available if you access GyFTR via HDFC’s branded portals.
  • American Express (Amex): Amex-branded GyFTR offers unique benefits, such as up to 5x reward points for purchasing vouchers through their special GyFTR site. These points are credited instantly (unlike the Amex Reward Multiplier portal, where bonus points arrive after 3-6 months). There are sometimes limitations, like lower denominations, monthly limits, or exclusive voucher availability tailored to Amex cards.

Now about the ponts that you get from gyftr when using different cards:

HDFC Regalia Gold (SmartBuy GyFTR Portal)

  • Reward Rate: Up to 5X Reward Points on select instant voucher purchases via SmartBuy GyFTR (such as Myntra, Nykaa, Marks & Spencer, Reliance Digital).
  • Effective Return: Discussions suggest this can translate into around 10% return (best-case redemptions) if you redeem points with Accor.
  • Base Earn Rate: 4 reward points per ₹150 spent (≈ 1.3% base).
  • Voucher Purchases: For eligible brands, you get accelerated rewards; always check SmartBuy/Regalia Gold GyFTR terms for exact brands at 5X.

Amex Platinum Travel (GyFTR/Reward Multiplier Portal)

  • Reward Rate: 3X points on most GyFTR purchases via the Amex Reward Multiplier portal.
  • Base Earn Rate: 1 MR (Membership Rewards) point per ₹50 (standard). On Reward Multiplier, you earn 3 MR points per ₹50.
  • Milestone Bonus: For each ₹4L spend in a card year, you get milestone bonus MR points, effectively raising your earn rate.
  • Effective Return: If you value MR points at ₹0.40 each, total returns touch 6.4% or higher on GyFTR spends, combining base + milestone rewards.
  • Redemption Speed: MR points from GyFTR/Reward Multiplier portals are credited instantly for eligible purchases.

Axis Atlas (Axis Gift Edge GyFTR Portal)

  • Reward Rate: EDGE Miles, Axis Atlas’s proprietary rewards currency—generally 2 EDGE Miles per ₹100 spent (base), and 5 EDGE Miles per ₹100 for travel spends.
  • GyFTR Integration: Axis GyFTR/EdgeRewards portal offers reward points, but specific accelerated rates/multipliers may vary—For promo periods, purchases on the portal can earn up to 5X EDGE REWARD points (i.e., up to 10% return). EDGE Rewards and EDGE Miles are not identical; Atlas users earn EDGE Miles.
  • Restrictions: Some recent community reports say Atlas cards may have restrictions or limits on buying certain vouchers from Axis GyFTR/EdgeRewards portals.
  • Voucher Purchases: Points/miles are posted as per the regular earn rate unless a higher promo or tier applies
Now apart from bank tied up Gyftr portal, there are many other places where you can buy vouchers:

1. Magnify
2. Amazon
3. Maximize Money
4. Park+
5. Uni gift card portal
6. Blinkit
7. HP Pay app
7. Magicpin
8. Savesage
9. Times Prime
10. Tata Neu
11. Paytm
12. Google Pay
Much more.

Some of these you need to pay extra convenience fees. Some give discount etc.

Please mark this as solution if find this helpful.

Thank you for a detailed explanation , really helps a lot of people🙌 . However , point to be noted : Axis rewards have been blocked for continuous usage on magnify etc., better not try anything with Axis cards.
