Which card you took out of FOMO and later regretted or closed?

We all come across a lot of credit cards new launches every month and promotions by influencers.
When many cards launches many people often think of taking it without thinking too much, whether it would be needed or suited for their spend pattern. These days cards are launched with flashy promotions, and influencer twitter threads, youtube videos and what not. Many times all this makes one feel that if I don't take this card, I am missing something and I am dragged behind the crowd.
If someone is an card influencer, youtube channel, or hobbiyist, then it still is OK for them to take this card, just to see the features, add to their collections and create content, but for general public many times, so many cards are not needed.
FOMO is the buzz word - fear of missing out - that makes people take these impulsive decisions. Because of that some people apply for these new cards and later realize that it is not needed for them. Some people extract the joining benefits and keep it if it is LTF, some people realize the mistake and close it. Some people just regret the decision.
Which card did you take out of FOMO and then realized that it is not for you? (either it is redundant, or not matching your spends, or not needed for you in the first place) and had to close it? Hoping to see some interesting discussions.

Fresh out of the oven 🍕 :
Just 30 mins back I opened a Slice Savings Account in order to accelerate my chances of getting the Slice Super Card.
Clear case of FOMO!! 😬
Will decide whether to close or swipe if at all I get the 🥒 card.
To add further :
When I joined TF, I saw a post which had MCC and I was like - why these guys are adding an extra C 🤔. I thought it must be something these Gen Z folks are using to make it sound cooler!!
Later on I realised the real meaning of MCC!!

Okay, in this context - I already had some FDs in NESFB (booked via UnStable Money) which was taken over by Slice. Those of you who don’t know NESFB can google like I googled MCC!!
My revenge 😬😬

Amex Plat Travel , not for me. Got FYF and then closed before renewal.
1. SBI Aurum - Closed
2. Indusind Pioneer - Closed
3. Yes Bank Marquee - Closed
4. HDFC Tata Neu Infinity - Closed
5. IDFC First Bank Mayura - Closed
I renewed my Yes Marquee

I renewed my Yes Marquee
They had agreed to make Marquee free for life. However, the customer service was a big deal breaker. Had to part ways with them. Same for Indusind Pioneer banking. Aurum customer support was good, but I didn't find the card much useful.

My FOMO cards were when I was new to CC world sometime in early 2023.
I took SC EMT, Tata Neu Plus, Axis Indian Oil, ICICI Coral etc. Didn't even know why I applied for these cards.
Maybe because of LTF or lounge access. These were the only things I knew that time.

Now I have 10 cards but our of that 7 are drawer cards (Not Fomo, but I'll close them next year or so after seeing the usage this year)

The only ones I use extensively are these three:
  • HDFC Tata Neu Infinity - An excellent all rounder card.
  • HDFC Swiggy - Only for Instamart & dineout.
  • Axis Atlas - To experience Accor redemption.
I'll have to say lot of stories about Atlas. (In one way if I think, that's also my FOMO card, to enter the points and miles world).
