Axis soon gonna start issuing addon cards

Earlier they used to issue addon card with same card number but with addon card holder name. Now it will be interesting to see if they are now issuing different card number for addon card and will it have different quotas for benefits as well.

Also whether the Add on Card will be limited to higher end Credit Cards such as Atlas and Magnus or whether it will also be issued for Airtel, Neo etc is also to be seen

New Add-on cards are already being issued by Axis on case to case basis (require special approval from credit card department head). I got one for my M4B in June. Card has different number than the primary one.

I got Add on card 2 years ago with a different number... With the same procedure as mentioned in this thread
 
Axis has the fear that if they issue add ons, add on holders will never apply their cards so that they can't get much business

How did you go about it? Did you request via RM and he got the approval of cc department head?

Wrong info

My father had an add-on to my Vistara Infinite and I had an add-on to his Magnus
Both were separate cards with their own quotas for offers

Correct. I had requested my branch manager for M4B Add-on card and he got all the necessary approvals within 2 working days. My card was delivered on the 5th working day.

Note - I also have an add-on on my Atlas card (issued in September' 2024).

You are saying that I have provided wrong information.

I used the word "earlier" because I myself received two cards, primary and addon with same card numbers.

Are you saying that Axis Bank never issued add on card with same number as primary card?

Choose your words carefully before accusing anyone. I am offended that you quoted my comments as wrong info.

axis is wierd, I have been trying since march last year and even the pno denied after several requests
