Ebixcash GPR Rupay Prepaid Card (1% cashback on every spends?)

Hi Guys,
Today while browsing I came across this card (Screenshot attached). In display it says that it will offer 1% cashback for all payments.

The card can be generated from the Ebixcash after logging in.

Please share details if you have any further information. Or if you have this card.

Try nehi kia. Aapke answer ki wait kar raha hun. 1% on every spends is attractive if they provide for all mcc.

They mentioned some surcharge for govt. / Education/ utility txn. But no further details provided.

I am looking at if the added money to ebix can be used for payment or loading in other wallet with extra 1% gain.

Keep some balance like 300 while generating. As it has charges probably 100+GST.

Edit: No charges for virtual card.

Not sure. But I think there are surcharge involved for some categories and that would be applicable for this card too. Only plus point is there is no specific mention of surcharge on financial services.

Updated on 16-June-2024.

Generated the card. All full kyc Ebix wallet account holder can generate this card from Ebix for consumer >> GPR (Generate GPR Card).

After generating the card it will be available in your homepage >> Menu >> Your Prepaid Card. You can block/unblock this card from there.

By default it will be virtual card with all details displayed. If required, you can generate a physical card also.

Basically it's a wallet / prepaid card. Whatever balance you load you can spend using this card. No need to transfer or load separately. It's connected with your Ebix wallet.

I did trial txns also. Txn to payzapp wallet successful. Txn for purchase of apay gift card at Amazon app failing.

No cashback credited yet. Will update if I get any cashback later.






Note: I am marking my own post as solution because as of now no one has provided the details I was looking for. I generated the card myself, used it to get first hand experience, and thereafter adding here necessary information for other two take note on. Thanks.

Update on 4th July 2025. Got one percent cashback.
