    I got my Amex Plat Reserve in 2012 or so. At that time it was yearly charge of 10K or one time payment of 40K. I paid the 40K and got 120K points and LTF.

    I have my own golf kit. Some courses do have golf kits for hire, but am not sure of the charges. Yes, Caddies are optional.

    I regularly use the Infinia golf programme. It is completely free ( green fees). Obviously you have to pay for the caddie charges separately.
