I live in a Tier 2 city and have a FD of 3k, not quite been 2 years tbh, let's see if they offer to someone under 2 years of FD as so far it seems that only 2 years or above relationships have been blessed so far.

I received a SMS recently about Re-KYC from SBM Bank. I don't have any savings account there, just holding OneCard issued by them. Is it really necessary to do it? or even legit? Anyone with similar experience?

Well, atleast a FD card did get me some unsecured cards, good and cheap way to get started in the credit journey.

Well this is concerning. But I have heard similar stuff from users of Kotak 811, personally never faced freezing of a saving account of mine but there should be a reason for blocking out a customer.

Been using Kotak 811 and I do agree with most of it's praise given by others. I mean a digital account shouldn't really need a branch to begin with. Although it's named a digital savings account it does pretty much function like a normal savings account from what I know so far.

Might have to get that updated then, if you really want this account. Others might be able to give more info on this.

I did the process today using my mobile phone's browser (chrome), they told me it would take 2 hours but I called their CC and they said the same could take 2 days. As for the Mobile app i have still not installed it, will do once I have the account details with me.
