Its been 3 Years I haven't received LE on my HDFC. My CL is 50,000. All the cards I hold have limit around 3,00,000+ individually. I have written mails to hdfc asking for same but got generic denial response. My Cibil is Spotless, don't know what to do.

So, its pretty much the same template in case of SBI like in my case. 20,000 RP. You should have taken the points and closed the card after few months. Keep us posted what happened with KOTAK and RBL. I am also planning to ask for the Variant change on my RBL ZOMATO EDITION card to World Safari...

Hey I happened to write to ICICI to consider LE on my 1.2 Years old Amazon pay ICICI Card to my surprise they took the request without asking for any documents, unlike HDFC. Did they increase your limit when you asked for it ? I do have lot of spends on my ICICI Card

Will they does the same for elite card too. This year I may not reach 10L spend criteria. But met the criteria for previous two years.

Try with variants that are equal to Flipkart cards. also ask them that you would like to have additional card rather than upgrade. i.e. you would be holding two cards.

As I don't hold Axis cards I cannot exactly tell you. But as far as I know common tend in Axis is they very easily change the variant of credit card. when I asked to change variant in ICICI Bank they did do CIBIL Enquiry and also in Kotak when I requested to change my Zen to Indigo 6E Card they...

You can flip it with other axis card easily I guess. Don't go for card retention fiasco, ask for variant change.

Be prepared to accept they can close your card without the offer but chances are very very high that their retention team will call you and offer a card upgrade and reward points. But Yes Bank cards are nothing much valuable in terms of reward rate but they will convert you cards to LTF very...

Wow great to hear that RBL is offering retention offers too. So by YES BANK, SBI, CITI & RBL have retention teams that do work to retain customers. Lets see how many more will join this club in the thread.
