Hmm, HDFC looks set to introduce a metal version of DCB that raises the daily and monthly cap of the current PVC DCB.

Basically my bill will be generated on 6th nov.

Want to know that the spends this sunday will be considered for the 80k milestone or the 4lakh milestone.

I have a roundabout way of saying yes, it probably will be considered. Why? Because last year when I was in the middle of a similar transition from DCB to Infinia, spends made on my old DCB before I fully transitioned ended up being counted towards the annual spends of my new incoming Infinia. How did I find out? According to my calculations looking at the transitional statement, assuming I had spent x amount on DCB before Infinia was approved, y after it was approved but still spent on DCB, and z after activating Infinia, I was counting only z towards my Infinia annual milestone. But surprisingly according to HDFC CC I had spent a figure which is close to y+z, bringing up my milestone slightly earlier than I expected.

Of course YMMV and only HDFC can say for sure, so please check with them.

I dont think it is related to statement generation, since I got mine on Oct 5 and my statement generation date is after that.

Paid dcb.

Not yet received the dcb metal (delay in delivery ), but the milestone is showing as completed for 1.5l spend and allowing for redemption , which I haven't explored much.

I have LTF DCB which is due for renewal this January. I also got a message from HDFC to update my address. Will they force me to go with the DCB paid metal variant or can I get the plastic version of DCB as LTF? I am more interested in the LTF variant.

I contacted my RM and corporate POC, and both are saying- it's not available yet.

It will be plastic renewal only till card itself is discontinued by issuer.

Spends of 5 lakhs in last 6 months or 10 lakhs in last 12 years and limit of 5 lakhs should make you eligible for metal upgrade

PNO declined my upgrade from Regalia first. have all these criteria fulfilled.

Heard from the customer care that there are no renewal benefits for the metal variant unlike the plastic one. Can anybody please confirm this? And is that a deal breaker?
