Hi all,

I currently have four Axis CCs:-
  • Magnus (Paid)
  • Ace (Paid)
  • Indian Oil (LTF)
  • Flipkart (LTF)

Axis' tie-up with my employer would give me an LTF Select card based on my salary. I do not plan to renew Magnus and get a paid Atlas in its place from Nov 2023.

I use Indian Oil card for refueling regularly and do not have any other card that gives a better return. Have not used Flipkart card for a long time but am afraid with ta slew of devaluations, the 5% unlimited cashback can come in handy sooner than later. While I have HDFC Tata Neu Infinity for 5% return on utilities bills, the 2% cashback on Ace for other transactions is too sweet to give up.

Thus given the four card limit of Axis, could you please help me take a decision on the cards to keep? Want to take Select for BMS BOGO offer after I give up Magnus. Thanks.

Select bogo is capped at 300/- for 2 ticket. Idfc wealth would be better for ltf card. Select usp was swiggy now it still there for 500 rs per order capping and 200 rs off. Twice a month. Replace either with Ace or flipkart.

Upgrade Flipkart and Ace to Airtel and Atlas.

Also apply for SBI 5% cashback card, then you do not need Flipkart and Ace

If you get Select and Airtel, you don't need Tata neu infinity.

you can use Select on the Tata neu app to get 20% discount as well as 5% Neu coins cashback for Big basket groceries 2000 to 2500 every month.

Airtel gives 300 on 3000 for utility bills
500 on 5000 for swiggy Zomato and 300 on 1200 for Airtel mobile prepaid postpaid DTH, broadband.

Atlas gives 4% for all transactions and 10% for Traveledge air tickets and hotels, 10% on direct hotels and 10% on direct airlines

Should get rid from Magnus!!!

Reason
:

1. Rental spends (6513), Wallet transactions(6540), Priority Pass spends & EMI transactions are not considered. Effective 1st September 2023, Spends threshold for annual fee waiver will also exclude transactions done on Government institutions (9222, 9311, 9399, 9402) and utilities (4814, 4816, 4899, 4900) MCCs
2. this also wont yield any points or calculation towards annual milestone
