If you use Amazon app, and select insurance in it and use the app directly for insurance payments, you get two times the reward points in Apay Cards.

See the last entry in my Statement. I got 1023 points for 51160 insurance payment.

Why don't you buy Amazon pay vouchers at discount and then pay using it?

People buy vouchers from Amazon(amex) aur Smartbuy(hdfc card holders)

i use diners black to get 8.7% reward value on smartbuy amazon gift card purchase...and then use that to pay premium on amazon..

if not diners black, you can buy amazon gv from payzapp (use payzapp wallet AND APPLY COUPON while checkout) at 5% cashback and then pay via amazon.
