Axis ACE - Card closed?

Hi All,

Recently got a Gpay notification for Axis Ace so clicked on it to apply however it gave an error saying that the offer is expired.

Then, got a SMS from AXIS with an offer to apply for ACE, the link took me to Axis Credit card online application page, filled in the details and at the page where you have to choose the credit card, all Axis cards were available except ACE so didn't proceed further. Later, got a call from AXIS customer care who told me that Axis has stopped issuing ACE CC for a few months.

Is it true guys? Not sure why but I'm not able to get my hands on this credit card at all.

i think through gpay application link inside gpay have stopped, on 24th it was available then it hasn't been there on my g-pay either. it not you , axis seem to have halt the application of axis ace just for a given time it seem.

for me gpay showed me ace till 24th-25th it was there for 20days plus. i didn't opt fill up the detail cause i didn't wanted to apply.

Literally got it last month. It's not issused openly. You need to get an offer on netbanking if you're an existing customer, or have an invite in any Google Pay account.

I really wonder what usage you people have on GPay to get that invitation. I use my Gpay for UPI transactions, some times credit card bill payment but did not received invitation yet. What more one can do in GPay to get that invitation? I am not Axis bank customer but have MyZone cc.

If u have contacts with Branch manager ...u can get it easily(did the same)

i haven't send a single amount in 1 yr and still got notification cause i use paytm if i have to use or Samsung pay if using android . so gpay usage doesn't matter i think.

It's totally random. I created my mother's gpay ac one year ago and did only 2 transactions in year yet still got invitation for axis ace on her gpay

Few days back I got a call from Axis Bank. The customer care executive said that the ACE card is very old at this point so they want to upgrade me to some newer card. The executive also said that the bank might close ACE cards. I explained to him that no other card gives a flat 2% cashback, and I am not a heavy flier or golfer or anything. So the upgrade is not for me.

I got the notification around last month, applied at 5 pm , got approved by 9 pm, got the 500rs Google pay scratch card the next day and got the card delivered on 6th March. I got that notification in gpay.

If u have axis account...go the branch where you have account and req manager for ace..most probably he will do it

Ideally we will get the notification via gpay.
I checked with axis Bank as well and now they are not promoting ace card only gpay is promoting and giving to eligible users

I got the link to apply within 2-3 days of creating the Gpay account, did few payments, added my cc that has the highest limit & checked the score in Gpay, though I am not applying for it.
I think they are giving it randomly.
