For Telecom you can get 5% upto 500. So ₹500 for ₹10000

Asked Customer support about the MCC for my transaction on Freecharge in May.

Received following response:
"This is with reference to your email dated June 29, 2025 regarding your transaction MCC code.

We regret to inform you that you are not eligible for monthly voucher as the transaction made on 03/05/2025 of

Rs. 20240.72/- for which the MCC code is 6012.

Please Note: W. e .f May 01, 2024, International transactions and/or transactions carried out on the Merchant Category Codes (MCC – 6012, 6051, 6540,6211 ) will be excluded from availing Monthly cashback as voucher/ Annual vouchers."

for MCC4814, phonepe recharge is still working
but for MCC4900, it seems everything is closing one by one...
Right now, my last way i.e. ebixcash is also not working (at least for me)..as UPI is not working..it is showing error

it seems one more loss for me...
missing the canara setu and sbi unipay days...it was so easy that time...
Now the time invested and return is not matching...
Will have to go back to normal credit card rewards and be happy with it..
for monthly rs. 1000 too much hassle and risk...
