Query Regarding HDFC Regalia Gold Secured CC (FD Backed)

Hello Technofino Community,

I have been a long time reader of the forum and I decided to create an account because I had some queries regarding applying for a HDFC Regalia Gold Credit Card through the FD backed route.
This will be my first credit card.

1. I Don't have any credit history/salary so is there a chance that my application will get rejected due even if I apply via the FD backed route?

2. Is there an option in the HDFC app/netbanking to select the Regalia Gold Card or will it have to be applied through the bank/RM?

3. Has anyone recently obtained the card through the FD backed route? If so, please drop your experience of the whole process.

Also, any and all suggestions are welcome as I'm new to the CC world.

FD card cannot be rejected. But for regalia they will ask more FD value. I think more than 3L.

No, through branch only , fd card can be applied.

3. Has anyone recently obtained the card through the FD backed route? If so, please drop your experience of the whole process.

Try considering other bank FD cards with low fd value if u dont have that much budget.

Why u particularly want regalia?
