Marriott App or Ishop ?

TF Buzz
I am going to stay at Tiruchirappalli Courtyard by Marriott for 2 nights .
2 room 2 night ( breakfast included)

Direct Bonvoy App - costs 46000/ stay
MMT using EPM (36% cash back} - 51000/stay

If I book through MMT , will I get the loyalty points ?

I already have gold elite status through Amex Plat Charge .

Booking through Ishop seems cheaper .

66666 points needed for entire stay which I do not have right now .

Marriott won’t give you points or elite nights for booking via aggregators like MMT.
Only ITC has given me stay credit in the past.
Not sure about now.

If you are gold elite, you can try emailing the hotel to check if they can throw in complementary breakfast.
I’ve read many cases where golds have been given free BF.
Golds get treated better too in India, normally. It’s about your pitch 🙂.

If you want the points then book direct.
You’ll also get 25% bonus points as a gold.
Plus you can check for suite upgrades, early check in, late check out, food discounts etc

If you are coming out ahead with EPM, despite the free BF for booking direct and don’t value the perks, then the choice is clear !

Do consider spend milestones etc on EPM etc before deciding.

This property is quite plush.
More like a Park Hyatt.

It was a local hotel brand that got into a partnership with Marriott.

We quite liked it !

You will not get 36%. There is daily cap on accelerated points 10k. So maximum amount is 30300, beyond that no accelerated points.
