Hello Folks,
This thread is review of Hyatt Place Vijayawada. This property is opened in August 2023 and offline booking were being taken in the beginning. I stayed during initial days and couldn't share experience back then. Recently I have stayed and I am sharing experience and reviewing it.
Vijayawada is second largest city in Andhra Pradesh after Visakhapatnam and upcoming Capital Amaravati comes closer to Vijayawada and many hotel chains are queuing up. For now ITC operates (Fortune Park), Taj operates (Vivanta earlier Gateway), Accor operates Novotel and Hyatt operates Hyatt Place.
Location:

Located in Eluru Road, near Gundala Matha Shrine.
Experience:
This property was a revenue booking from my family associates, where the price per night was around 5500 + Taxes, got it for around 3500 (Including Taxes). Check in was smooth as the reservation was prior in advance. Property is very small with 4 floors of rooms and have a decent sized Banquet Hall which can accommodate around 300 persons for any events.
Restaurant and Food:
They have couple of restaurants The Market and Zing (Both are used for Breakfast). Breakfast options are limited and not upto the standards of the Novotel (Accor in the City). Taste and Hygiene are good. Shockingly there was no Juices offered for the breakfast, Not sure of the other days.
Room Images:
As this was discounted booking, no upgrades was offered. Specialty King Bed with Sofa Bed Deluxe Room was offered.
Toiletries are by Portico
Some Images of the Property:
Overall Hyatt Place Vijayawada offers what it has to offer a Business Hotel. Decent sized rooms and good hygiene hotel with decent food. Breakfast options would have been a better value for money. Novotel also operates at a similar price points and offer more value and they had been operating from long time. Hyatt should have concentrated either on Price point or Breakfast options for providing Value for Money. I have been hearing this Hotel is taken to consideration only if Novotel is full. All in all a decent stay.
Overall Rating: 3.5 / 5
