Guys met ICICI BM today , he told me 2 conditions for getting EPM. He said salary or ITR doesn't matter if bank is not getting profit from you it will not give you card.

Condition 1: do a decent FD of around 25L and they will give EPm straight away along with opening account

Condition 2: open icici Bank account, shift salary here and do small fd, move family salary account also here. He will give emrald plastic asap, and will give EPM in 2-4 months Max 6 months.

In 2nd condition I told him what if he not able to upgrade when time comes. He said I am branch manager , and I am giving u my word

Any suggestions guys

With 3 to 5yrs locking period ? Will you accept ?

Even after you got the card this way, you think they let you break the fd ? Lol

Looks like this bank going in the same path as someone who used to ask for ulips.

Take the same on email from RM, EPM has a 5-6 level approval, even BM is small player in this hierarchy
Also RM/BM frequently lie to meet their targets
Even if true, only option 1 is the choice, option 2 is not happening

Once I got into ccgeek and similar communities, I realised straight away that BM has no powers whatsoever. Specially in case of HDFC and ICICI. They are zero people.

RM have some power, but RM's superior has major power.

Also if you find corp RM, he has huge powers.
